Saturday morning 8am, I opened my hotel room curtains – rain. For once the weather forecast was right. Even with the prediction that by 10:30am it would have stopped. And maybe its just the luck of Golf4Fun, but thats exactly what happened. Umbrella’s and rain trousers were safely stowed back in golf bags and players got on with the challenge ahead – conquering Quellenhof!

Late afternoon, saw all those same golfers, challenge completed, relaxing on the terrace of the Marcushof Hotel and Restaurant in Bad Bellingen where we settled in for an evening of great food and great rewards for the hard work during the day – so many prizes to go around…where do we start?

Congratulations to all the winners on the day and a special thank you to Beat from Mobiliar, Barry from CoSwiss and Jay from TCL who helped with the hard task of handing over the goodies to the deserving winner. Thanks also to Charlotte, Mark, Siegi and Daniel for their help during the entire day!

So who were all those winners?

On their first time out with the regular Golf4Fun’ers, Jenny bagged a great Taylormade bag for topping the ladies brutto ranking list with an impressive 18 points, while Alex managed an even more impressive 27 brutto points in the men’s camp to claim 100.- CHF vouchers for Golf Import. Theresa, representing South Africa, fought bravely to achieve 2nd place in the Ladies Brutto category and received the reward of 2 days passes for the Savognin Berg Bahn for her skills. Heidi bagged a 100.- CHF voucher for her impressive skills in the Netto 18-PR category, tied with Hein who win a Victorinox golf tool as a reward for his toils on the day.

Newly HCP’d in 2013, Patrick Studer chose two day tickets for Savognin Berg Bahn while Rainer stuck with a prize which he know will help improve that HCP even more – a lesson with Swiss & British PGA Pro Brian Murphy. Oldtimers (at least in the Golf4Fun sense) Jay bagged a simulator voucher for Golf Now while Hau-Kit chose the 100.- CHF voucher from our travel partner Golf Butler. “Newtimer” Beat took a break from the prize giving to receive his own prize – a one month’s members at Holmes Place. And Bob, soon to be another “Golf4Fun old timer” I’m sure also chose two day passes for Savognin Berg Bahn.

Jenny wasn’t quiet finished winning prizes, she also bagged a 50.- CHF voucher for U-nique for her impressive long drive and scoring “16 from the back 9” put her in pole position to grab the 2 bottles of Heida Sparkling wine from our official wine sponsor – Fin Bec Fine Wines. Siegi and Bernd grabbed 3 sleeves of balls in the Lucky Looser section while Nina got a 50.- CHF voucher from Golf Import for the most impressive Netto score on the day from our PR competitors.

Patrick Knab and Jacques also bagged a 50.- CHF vouchers for the respective wins in the Nearest to the Pin and Longest Drive categories. Dick finished off his evening with a day card for Golf Point Urdorf as did Toni who joined us at Bad Bellingen for the first time.
